The goal of these groups is to allow believers in the same stage of life to meet together, study Scripture, and be an encouragement to one another by sharing their experience of what God has brought them through.
The heart of our children’s ministry is Proverbs 22:6,
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
It is our desire to partner with families to help children understand the Gospel and develop an authentic relationship with Jesus.
On Sundays, check-in for all of our children’s programs begins at 10am. Childcare is available during our morning worship service for infants and toddlers through 2 years of age. In addition to our childcare, we also offer Children’s Worship for children 3 years of age through 6th grade. Children’s worship is an exciting opportunity for kids to discover how God loves them and sent Jesus to be their Savior! Our 3-5 year old class lasts for the duration of the morning service. Children will have a Bible story as well as participate in crafts and other activities that reinforce the lesson. Those children in kindergarten through 6th grade will begin by participating in worship during our main service before being dismissed to their class. They will use the Bible to learn about who God is and how to apply His word to their lives.
On Wednesdays, children are welcome to come be involved in our AWANA program. AWANA is an exciting Scripture memorization program made just for kids! Our AWANA program has classes for kids in preschool through 6th grade. Each week, kids will learn Biblical truths, memorize Scripture, participate in games, snacks, and more! We meet each Wednesday throughout the school year and follow the HEB ISD calendar. AWANA begins at 6:30 and ends at 7:45 pm.
The Collective, our student ministry, serves and disciples students from 7th to 12th grade, or ages 11-18. Our mission is to provide a safe and engaging environment in which we equip our students to deepen their faith and share it with their peers. We want students to realize that church is somewhere where they can come to encourage one another and help each other do life, and we want them to have fun in the process!
Wednesdays at the Collective are a time of fun, worship, and teaching as we grow together as a group, while Sunday afternoons are when our small groups get a chance to support and encourage one another on a deeper level. We also have plenty of fun and amazing events throughout the year to bond together. We hope you will come check us out and we look forward to meeting you!

At Harwood Terrace, we believe that prayer is foundational for life lived rightly, and that it is the underpinning of all else we do. Through prayer we seek God’s will, better preparing us to live day-by-day trusting in His provision and His plan, and we allow ourselves to be conformed more closely to the desires and passions of God.
We meet on Wednesday nights (6:30 pm) and Sunday mornings (8:30 am) for dedicated times of prayer, and would love to pray for you! Please contact us to submit a prayer request, so that we can pray for you this week.
It’s about posture – not performance.
God deserves our love, our adoration, and our dedication both because of who He is and what He has done. True worship is both the act and mindset of living one’s entire life as though every action is dedicated to God.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for God and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Jesus Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24 ESV
One of the many ways God calls us to worship Him in Scripture is through music. (Psalm 96:1, Ephesians 5:19) Musical worship is not and should not be defined by a certain style or type of music, but rather by a whole-hearted focus on God.
